Book Review: Dane by Theresa Hissong

My Review:

This book focuses on Dane and his mates. You read that right he has more than one. The fact that Dane has more than one mate makes this book different from all the others.

Cole and Olivia work at Liberty’s bar 'The Deuce' and Dane doesn’t trust anyone but himself to watch over them while they work. Cole is ex-military and his brother has been taken because of it. Things get dangerous fast. Olivia is almost killed and Dane must change her to save her. As soon as he touches her, he knows that she is his mate. Cole watches over Olivia while Dane is sedated for her transition. Cole has to touch her to help her and she feels that same pull Cole is her mate. Nothing like this has ever happened before. They will have to figure out how it will all work.

We meet Landon, Cole’s younger brother who I suspect will be an up and coming story. I can’t get enough of this series. I can’t wait for the next book. I highly recommend this book and the whole series. It is a must read for sure.

Book Review: Perfect Form by Britney Bell

My Review:

This is the author's debut so it is my first by her and it won't be my last. This first book in the Texas Tornados series. I loved this book and never wanted to put it down. I love sports romances and this is one of those books that you just can't put down. This is Tyler and Jordan’s story.

Tyler is a quarterback who was injured whilst playing American football. He needs to recover quickly and is told that intense massages every four hours with eight hours sleep will help. What he didn't know was that the person called Jordan, hired to do the job is a woman.

Jordan is just getting her mobile massaging business off the ground, when she is asked by a client if she can do her & her husband a favor by helping out someone they know. It would be a week long job that would take up most of her week.

I can't wait to see what happens next for them. I can't want for the next book in this new series and to read more from this new author. I highly recommend this book.

Book Review: Knight by Addison Carmichael

My Review:

I love my shifter books they are one of my favourites. I am loving this series. I can't wait for the next book. The story wastes no time in drawing you in and taking you on a journey. This book is a real page turner and I would have read it in one sitting if I could.

Alexia Raine’s life is turned upside down when she is captured and brought to a werewolf enclave where she learns the truth about her origins. She struggles to come to terms with it until events overtake her fears.

Neil Duran is the Alpha Four Enforcer for the Bryant Pack. His role is protecting Alexia, and he’s tasked with retrieving her from San Diego where she’s being stalked by another pack who want to abduct Alexia for the special abilities she possesses.

I highly recommend this book. If you have not read the prequel I suggest you read it first it is only a short story but you don't have to.

I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review.

Book Review: Grayson by Kay Maree

My Review:

Great start to a new series. I can't wait to read about the other brothers. This is Grayson and Mac's story. The story grips you from the first page and you don't want to put it down. I wish we found out more of what happened with her stepbrother. I wish it was a bit longer as I want more Grayson and Mac but I am sure we will catch up with them in one of his brothers books.

Book Review: Marcus by Kelsie Rae

My Review:

Another awesome book. I absolutely loved every second of this story from the beginning to the end. It is a standalone but it would benefit you tremendously to read at least Sophie before Marcus.

Marcus is an all around good guy who has loved his little sister's best friend, Natalie for years but she doesn't have a clue about his feelings. Natalie has loved her best friend's older brother, Marcus the man who brings butterflies to her stomach since she was five. Unaware of his feelings she has decided to move on, but one small problem. Marcus is moving to be closer to his sister for the arrival of her twins. And it seems she is gaining a roommate Marcus. The best part Sophie is okay with her brother and best friend being together.

I am loving this series so far and I can't wait to read the next book in the series 'Anthony' coming in July.

I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.

Book Review: December by DL Gallie

My Review:

This is my first book by this author and it wont be my last. This is the fifth book in this new series I have read and I can't wait to read more. This is Gage and Marlee's story and I love the instant connection they have.

Gage Grainger has suffered since his mother’s death when he was 10 years old but Christmas time is just too painful for him. He is known as The Grinch at work and he plans to keep it that way, but when you have spent so many years turning your nose up at love can Gage put the past hurt and tragedy to the side to see love is worth the risk.

Marlee Adams throws herself into the toy drive at her work but when the very sexy Gage Grainger volunteers to help out, everyone is skeptical about his true intentions.

My favourite ice cream (Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough) is in the book.

I can't wait to read December Calendar Gals coming in May.

I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.

Jarrod Turner (Ernie) has everything but is unhappy cause of an event that happened when he was seventeen in March which brings back bitter memories every year. Melody is from Australia and over on business.

After spending two weeks together it was time to part ways. Jarrod went back to the city to work work and Melody to the city for business, Never to see each other again.

He was standing looking out his office window thinking about Melody when the manager for the new Australian hotel comes in. Bob introduces her as Terri Edwards but when Jarrod turns around guess who is standing there.

Book Review: April by Aleisha Maree

My Review:

This is the second book in this new series I have read and I can't wait to read more. This is Gracie-May and Kaden's story. Both are broken from past relationships that have gone bad due to alcoholism.

Lieutenant Kaden James is seriously injured in the war. He has been through so much too and it ends up being a lot more than we first suspect.

Gracie-May is the head nurse in the infirmary he gets placed. She has a husband with demon's of his own, he is a former soldier that was seriously injured in combat and likes to spend his days drinking, he also doesn't think twice about taking his pain out physically and mentally on his wife.

I can't wait for the rest of the story in April (Calendar Gals) releasing in May.

Book Review: Mating Instinct by Theresa Hissong

My Review:

Another awesome book from this author and just like all her others I loved it. I am loving this series so far and I can't wait for more of the Morgan Clan. I highly recommend this book and series. This is Ada and Rex's story.

Rex and his brothers have come out of their hibernation and are now prepping the land for their crops. When Rex and Gunner are walking around the land, they come upon a scent of another bear but what they find when she shifts is shocking. When he sees Ada for the first time he knows she is to become his mate.

Ada ran from her clan as they were about to sell her to another shifter to be mated to him, but she fled before this could happen.

They have a lot to overcome before they mate though. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Blog Tour: Art of Love by Khardine Gray + Giveaway

Art of Love
by Khardine Gray
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Never get involved with a man who is competing for the same job as you.

It's a bad idea. Obviously...
And no, not even if the man is a complete dead ringer for Brad Pitt/Thor.
No, not even if he’s an irresistible, charming sex god with his panty-melting smile and the sexy James Bond English accent to sweep you off your feet.
Off Limits.
That’s what that guy is.

Off! Limits!

And trouble.
When I first met Hunter Kane I knew he was trouble.
It all began in a bar on a night we should have had one-night stand. The kind that blows your mind, except I couldn’t remember what happened.
Then I was convinced my eyes were screwing with me when he walked in for the same interview as me.
Then we got drafted into this competition for the same job.
That made him my rival.
The one man I shouldn’t have…

Except…

He’s is the one man I can’t forget.
It’s a bad idea to get involved.
But the temptation of this man is too strong to resist, and my body keeps betraying me.
I know one day it will blow up in my face.
I even know what day that will be.
We both have to choose.
The job, or each other…
Then wanting him will be the least of my problems.
