My Review:

This is my first story by both authors and it won't be my last. I hope they do another co-write sometime.

Abruptly she turned around, “Let’s go, we still have to go a few miles in front of us.” Her voice was terse, not the love struck fool she was only moments before. She took two heavy steps, punishing the ground with her frustration, she felt Drake pull on her elbow. He groaned, and pushed her against a tree, before she could figure out what was happening, he kissed her. He dominated her, his hand wrapped around the nape of her neck, he held her steady and pulled her close. He slanted his mouth over hers, his lips moved possessively over hers. It was a hot, wet, and deliciously sensual kiss. She did melt for him, her legs became weak, and her eyes closed. That must happen to him a lot, because he wrapped his free arm around her waist, effectively holding her up pressed against his body. She could feel his hard chest, and something hard pressed against her belly. Priscilla felt his tongue caress her lips. She didn’t know what to do, should she use her tongue too? She opened to him and without hesitation, he pushed his tongue inside her mouth. He explored her mouth, their tongues tangled and rolled together. The sensation of having someone’s tongue pressed against hers, moving along hers was erotic. She moaned. Then he pulled back. It took a few moments of kissing the air, before Priscilla heard the soft chuckle in front of her. She opened her eyes, as he wiped his lips with the back of his hand, and laughed at her. “Exactly like I said. You melted for me, just like all the others do. Nothing is different about you.” Her anger boiled over, he was laughing at her? He ruined her first kiss with his careless words. Something otherworldly came over her, she could feel the moment her control snapped and she lost the hold she had over her power. “Stop!” she said quietly, and everything stopped. Every sound in the forest ceased, the purple loisips stopped croaking. The anteline’s long brown bodies no longer jumped from tree to tree above them. There was no breeze, it was all locked in place by her magic. She took a menacing step toward Drake, her head tilted in examination. She was a passenger inside her body, it moved without thought, and not even her voice belonged to her. The voice she heard was deeper and husky.

Book Review: Gunner by Elaine Barris

My Review:

This is my first book by the author and it won't be my last. I am loving this series so far. The vampire thirst stories are great. This book had me hooked from the start.

I love how you not only get Gunner and Imogen's story but you get some of Lee and Piper's aswell. 

Gunner was investigating a possible traitor in the Directive and in the process gets sent to jail as part of a bigger conspiracy. Jana starts to suspect something's wrong and agrees to temporarily release Gunner so he can keep investigating. 

The traitor is always one step ahead of them and complicates things when he abducted Imogen which results in Gunner quickly succumbing to the Thirst.

Book Review: Grey by Bella Roccaforte

My Review:

Grey has been around for a long time. He shuns his own kind generally, preferring bagged blood and hiding amongst humans as a Professor. But don't take hiding as a sign of weakness. Grey is all Uber Vampire, he just wants a quiet, drama-free life, away from his Maker, Charles! But when a visit from his maker coincides with a dramatic increase in his thirst for blood, poor Grey is just about over the edge of no control. He drinks from humans and quiet a few time she has to be pulled back from the brink of draining them dry!

When Grey finally catches scent of his Bloodmate, Mila a bloodfairy from the Underworld. Nothing else will sate his need. But with her family, the Directive and a pact between worlds all in the mix, will Grey and his mate actually get to be together?

This was a very enjoyable journey that I took with these characters. I was quickly pulled into the book and couldn’t put it down.

Book Review: Call of the Wolf by R. Murray

My Review:

Call of the Wolf is the first book in the Dark Blood Trilogy. This book sucked me in from the start. In the book we are introduced to 2 witch sister's Emilia and Melaina who have been chosen by the most powerful vampire family to be given the gift of immortality. Both sister's choosing to walk down different paths. Melaina embraces the darkness that consumes her soul while her sister Emilia does her best to use her power to help people by being a healer.
This book has Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and different POVs that make it interesting. I loved the twists and turns. I really enjoyed this story and can't wait for the next book in the trilogy.

Book Review: Victor by A K Michaels

My Review:

A fabulous start to a new must read vampire series. I didn't want to put the book down. I love Vampires and Shifters. This is my 2nd Dragons book and I loved it. This is my first book from this author and won't be my last. I have followed her work but never got around to reading her work until now. I loved Victor and Kimber's story.

Victor is an ancient and very rich vampire. he never loses control so one night when he does he is thrown for a loop.

Victor's housekeeper is a Fae and she sets him straight with what is going on and he is now on a mission to find Her.

Kimber is a Dragon and the last of her people and is being hunted.

It had a great storyline with interesting characters and a HEA. I can't wait for the next book in the series. If you have not read it yet you should go and one click it now as you will not regret it.
