Soon it’s a daily dose of partying, self-medicating, and having sex with lots of different guys. As her relationship with Eli destructs, she falls for Jesse, who just so happens to be a drug dealer. Every time she starts to fall back into the memories of her past, Jesse makes it easy to snort away the pain.
But she snorts too much one night; it forces her to question the man she loves and acknowledge her mental and emotional instability. In the second installment of The Barren Series, Stacey must overcome her addiction and make peace with her past if she is ever to be truly happy again.

Lovers at Heart is book #4 in the Love in Bloom series and is book #1 in the Branden series but can be read as a standalone.

Treat Braden is a businessman with a mission. Oldest son of Hal Braden, he feels the responsibility of looking out for his brothers and sister. He buys resorts all over the world and knows his way with woman but none of them managed to get under his skin like Max Armstrong.

Max is a successful woman with a job that she enjoys. She stays away from any kind of relationship after something that happened in the past.

I loved this book. I loved both Treat and Max. I couldn’t put the book down, it was an excellent book and a wonderful read.

Overall Lovers at Heart is well written story that makes the readers look for and want more of this series.

Review:

Nessa is determined to win a scholarship with her running so she invests a lot of time and energy into it. When she gets bitten by a wolf out in the woods on one of her runs, soon after she realises that her body is starting to change. She learns that she was chosen to solve the mystery around the studies on the children and Billy.

The water supply in the small town of Tether had been contaminated by a chemical company resulting in an abnormal amount of cancers and other illnesses. The company went bankrupt and another company stepped in to ‘study’ the children who might be affected. Somehow no one questions what they are studying or doing to the kids or why the parents can’t be in the exam room. No one except Billy’s mother and even then only after he gets sicker and sicker.

I have read a lot of werewolf stories over the years but I have not read one similar to this. It is different and I enjoyed it because it is different to all the other ones.

I am curious to see if there will be a sequel. I will love to read more.

Thank you to Netgalley and Chooseco for a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Review:

Hawaiian Heartbreak is the first book in the Hawaiian Heartbreak series.

Kayla is taking her first ever vacation, she’s setting out on her on to Hawaii after a break up with her long term boyfriend. She plans to tour, catch some sun and enjoy the alone time, while avoiding the overzealous honeymooners. Fate has other plans when tour guide Jay takes a seat next to her on the bus for some light banter neither expected the draw they had for one another. What starts as harmless flirting and some sight-seeing together turns into so much more when Jay announces his feelings for Kayla after just a few days. The sex was hot and I’m really looking forward to reading the next books in the series.

Will Kayla and Jay end up in a relationship?
Or will she go back home?

I love the awesome book cover and writing style. A very well written mild erotic short story (book).

Hawaii has always been on my bucket list as a place I have wanted to visit for ages and this book makes me what to go more.
