Book Review: Ranger the Kaimanawa Stallion by Kelly Wilson

My Review:

I got a copy of this for my kids Nicholas and Charlotte as they both love horses and I was looking for some new kids books to read with my almost five year old son Nicholas and also for Charlotte when she is older as she is only one and a half.

Nicholas said he loves all the pictures and liked having a horse bedtime story.

Charlotte loved the pictures as she kept pointing at the horses mainly.

This story is told from Ranger's POV. He is a wild stallion until one day his herd is directed by helicopters to a holding area. He gets lucky and ends up going home with the Wilson sister's.

This is a great New Zealand children's story and it is also a true story.

I have heard of the Wilson sister's before but haven't read any of Kelly's books yet (I have added them all to my TBR list and will be getting me some copies to read). I know the TV show Keeping up with the Kaimanawas that the sisters starred in, I just need to finish watching it.
