My Review:
I'm a sucker for a rock star romance, especially when they're done well. I went to bed and read the whole thing in about 3 hours before going to sleep.
These are basically good guys that play music. They aren't partying twenty four seven. They take their careers seriously. There is also a family vibe about them. There were definitely moments that had me crying, based on what what happening to the characters or how they were feeling about things that had happened or things that they'd done.
Coraline has been on the road with her cousin's band since she was eighteen. She loves taking care of the guys in Glory Days. Not only is she a roadie, she is also their tour manager. She keeps them in line and knowing where they need to be at all times. Having done this for a bit, she has one rule. Don't mix business with personal. Until her cousin's band toured with Fatal Cross.
Taylor Vaughn was taken with Coraline from the get go. He loves everything about her. Tracking her down in the Azores was the only way he knew how to get her alone and away from work. He had to try. He thought they had a fantastic couple of days, but when he went home after that, he was so busy and something bad happened. He knew he would see her in a few weeks, so he wanted to wait to explain until he could tell her face to face. He didn't want to talk to her when she had called because he had been struggling with his sobriety and didn't want to have her see him like that. He wanted to keep the bad away from her. Now it might just cost him everything.
I can't wait to read the next book in the series 'Fatal Temptations'.
