Hart of Rock and Roll Book 5
by Mary J. Williams
Genre: Contemporary Romance

A HART OF ROCK AND ROLL HOLIDAY ROMANCE

Tula Carson knows what her future holds. A good life. A secure life. Safe. Steady. Boring.
She has no one to blame but herself. She chose the path she's on. But, she wants something more. Something different. Now. Before it's too late.

Fleet Sherman is a Rock God. And he isn't afraid to enjoy the perks. Money. Fame. Beautiful women. As far as he's concerned, his life is perfect. Until he meets smart, funny, talented, frustrating Tula Carson. The one woman he can't resist. The only woman he can't have.

On the surface, Tula and Fleet seem worlds apart. She grew up loved. He just wants to forget his childhood. She's led a sheltered life. He's experienced everything life had to offer. Yet, from their first meeting, they clicked.

Tula has a chance to fulfill her dreams. But the first step is always the hardest. Will she jump, or play it safe?

Fleet doesn't believe he deserves a woman as good and sweet as Tula. For her sake, he has to let her go.

A love of music brought them together. Will their pasts tear them apart? Do they need a Christmas miracle? Or will they realize love is the greatest gift of all.

Grab this standalone book today.

I love books, I always have and always will. Writing is an extension of that and though it has taken me a while to get here, I now can officially call myself a published author.

I grew up on a ranch in Eastern Washington, so I wanted to set my books on the Columbia River in Washington state. Harper Falls is completely fictitious, but I think anyone from the area will know right where it would be if it did exist.
My hobbies are gardening, reading, baking(fattening desserts are my favorite), exercise(I don't love it, but it is necessary due to the desserts), and animals. I had a dog but when he died I couldn't bring myself to replace him. That is why I wrote Edgar, the dog into "If I Loved You", I consider him my surrogate puppy until I can get a real one.
I love to get feedback on my books so I hope everyone will feel free to leave a question or visit my website(it is a work in progress, but I'm getting there).

Blog Tour: Thread of a Spider by D.L. Gardner + Giveaway

Thread of a Spider
by D.L. Gardner
Genre: YA Historical Fantasy

TEENS ENLIST THE FAE TO WIN A WAR IN IRELAND

When all attempts to save her fiance fail, Ailis must rely on the magic of the forest folk.

Following an ambush at the Upton Rail Station in 1921 Ireland, British troops burn Ailis' home to the ground and arrest her fiancé, Liam, for murder. She and her younger brother Paddy flee to an enchanted glen. Lured by a haunting song, Paddy is abducted by forest folk. Perilous obstacles, and a questionable stranger, hinder Ailis' attempts to find her brother or free her fiance, until her only hope for survival rests on the magic of the Fae.

˃˃˃ A bitter uprising in Ireland is taking place and two siblings are tossed in the battle, facing death, believing in love, and hoping in magic.

1920 found Ireland at the peak of tensions that had been building for centuries. Famine, tyranny and strife robbed the Irish of their homes, their lives and their country. Four years after the Easter Rising, pressure became so great, that the southern Irish took up arms against the British and fought for a free nation. Thread of a Spider, a historical fantasy, weaves history and Irish myth together to tell a story about two teenage siblings caught in the war and swathed in the legends of Erie.˃˃˃ A fantasy based on history woven with rich Irish lore.

Paddy finds that Fae weaving spider's silk into a magical cloth.
Thread of the spider,
Weaving of ties,
Cloak for Fianna’s
And soldiers who rise.
A fabric of healing for wounds and their ills,
A cloak of our finest periwinkle.

Suddenly, the song ceased, the glow dimmed, and the faerie lowered herself gracefully to the ground. Once she landed, she stood taller than Paddy would have expected a faerie to be. In fact, she stood his own height when her moccasins touched the wet sand. She set her yarn on a tree stump and glanced in his direction. “You there!” she said.
Paddy had been well hidden, hadn’t he? Still, she studied the very rock he crouched behind.
Come forth and state your name,” she commanded. “For you’re spying on me as I work, and yet I have no honest vision of you.”
Paddy held his breath. Surely, she couldn’t see him. Her voice was not as frail as he thought a Fae’s voice should be. In fact, there was authority to her tone, like that of a queen, or some noblewoman who lived in a castle and had many servants to watch over.
You cannot hide from me,” she said. “Stand up. Put your weapon aside, because that firearm will do you no good against the might of a Fae. Tell me your name, so I can see if you are an enemy or no. Bear in mind we take little sympathy toward humans, unless of course we can use you.”

With a passion for a good wholesome story, Gardner dives into the adult and young adult fantasy genres. She is both a best selling author and an award winning illustrator who lives in the Pacific Northwest, USA. Dabbling in screenwriting, she's won screenings and a trophy for some of her film projects.

She loves a tale that ignites imaginations, strengthens friendships, spurs courage and applauds honor. Though she targets her stories for young adults, her books are enjoyed by all ages.

Release Blitz: A Tragic Journey by C. Renee

A Tragic Journey
A Titanic Novella
C. Renee
Publication Date: 1st December 2017
Genres: New Adult, Historical Romance

Aubrie Flanagan.

Aubrie was a bright girl who dreamed of traveling the world. It was 1912, in the city of Belfast, Ireland.

Sadly, tragedy stuck so close to home that her relatives wanted their small family to start a new life in America.

After giving the Flanagan family tickets to board the RMS Titanic, Aubrie never imagined her life would change forever.

Surviving the sinking of the Titanic, she began her new life in America.

With the help of the wonderful woman who adopted her, the two embarked on a new journey together.
What Aubrie didn’t know was that her adventure was just beginning.

Her new mother had no choice but re-marry and their family expanded but at a great cost.

Does Aubrie’s life finally feel complete again or does she endure more pain and suffering?

Expert:

I’m sitting on the lifeboat and I keep scanning the crowd to find my mother and brother but I’m coming up empty. I look down at Ted and send a silent message to God. “Please God, have my family sent back to me. I miss them.” I can feel the tears start rolling down my cheeks, what if I can’t find them?
I feel the lifeboat jolt and suddenly, it’s being lowered down. I jump up to my feet, ready to leave the boat when a lady grabs my waist and pulls me back down.
“What do you think you’re doing?” she asks me. This lady is wearing one of the prettiest dresses I’ve ever seen and she has a small suitcase next to her. When she looks down at me, her face is showing fear and concern.
“I have to go and find my mom and brother.” I tell her. I am determined to go and try to find them.
“No, you are not going anywhere young lady.” Her voice is firm.     My mom has raised me to respect adults and so I do as I’m told and take a seat. This unknown woman pulls a blanket out of her suitcase and drapes it over my shoulders.
“Thank you,” I whisper to her.
I turn to her and take in her appearance. She has long brown hair that’s styled in a braid, her brown eyes are wide with shock, and she has a beauty spot just below the right corner of her eye. She is very pretty, beautiful really.
The lifeboat hits the water and the two men in this boat are rowing away from the Titanic as fast as they can. After we have gone a good distance away from the ship, all we can do now is sit and wait.
“What is your name?” the lady asks me.
“Aubrie, what is your name?” She seems to be on her own like me.
“Margaret. It’s nice to meet you Aubrie.”
